Senomyx Employees Unleash the Sounds at the Rock & Roll-Over Event

Sweet sounds for the hounds!  Senomyx employees joined hundreds of fellow San Diegans at the Rock & Roll-Over Event, the first local outdoor musical benefit for animal welfare.  The goal of this event was to raise money for The Barking Lot, a non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter for dogs in search of their forever homes.

The Barking Lot rescues our furry friends from area shelters, humane societies and Mexico if they are at risk of being euthanized and/or abandoned, and finds them amazing “forever homes” perfectly suited to their needs.

As well as being wonderful companions, dogs are amazing teachers.  The Barking Lot believes they all deserve a chance at a better life and their behavior will balance beautifully if their needs are meet and good leadership is applied. These pups can be the most grateful creatures you’ve encountered.

This Sunday, January 13^th, The Barking Lot is teaming up with Petco to host The Petco 5k9 Walk Run.  If you are looking for a healthy, fun way to spend your Sunday morning consider coming out to the Del Mar Fairgrounds and walking one of these great pups!

Registration Is Open! You can register online or on-site from 6:00 – 7:30 am on race day.

1k – 9:00 am
Expo – 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
