Senomyx Blood Bank 5k

Senomyx employees: Ana C., Ana A. & Melissa W. at the finish.

Senomyx employees strode to the occasion at the San Diego Blood Bank 5K Walk/Run Benefit this summer.  Once again, our employees were personally invited by the San Diego Blood Bank to participate in their annual 5K in recognition of our continued involvement with the organization.  By hosting blood drives throughout the year at Senomyx, we are able to offer donated blood to patients in need. The Walk/Run was a great chance to have fun, be healthy, support a good cause, and represent Senomyx within the San Diego Community!

Established in December 1950, the San Diego Blood Bank is an independent blood center serving about 50 hospitals in the Southern California Region.  It has added donor centers and bloodmobiles to cover all of the region’s neighborhoods. The San Diego Blood Bank is a member of America’s Blood Centers, and the American Association of Blood Banks.  More information about the San Diego Blood Bank can be found at www.sandiegobloodbank.org.  As the saying goes, Senomyx employees believe that blood was meant to circulate, so please donate!
